Meet BitRacer
My fucked up brain baby
“This game is going to be fucking sick”

Built for mods
BitRacer is a 2D top-down pixel racing game that’s built around modding first. Want a new track or car? Drop it in the mods folder and you’re done. No editors, no converters, no ritual sacrifices. The game is meant to be messed with, broken, and rebuilt by players.
Driving that doesn’t let you cheat
The physics are semi-realistic, which means you still have to drive properly. You shift manually, RPMs are simulated, and no, you can’t launch in 6th gear like you’re The Flash. It’s easy to start driving within seconds, but actually going fast takes learning the racing line and knowing when to shift.
Sandbox chaos (for now)
Right now Bitracer is mostly a sandbox. Drive around, test cars, learn tracks, race friends in multiplayer, or just vibe in singleplayer. Time trials, AI races, and proper online racing are planned and actively being worked on. The base systems are already there, we’re just building on them.
Actively developed, sometimes competitive
Bitracer is in active development, with the game files available on our GitHub. We’ve got multiple car styles already (single seaters, a rally prototype, and more coming), semi-realistic tracks, and a bright-but-not-neon look. We also run competitions from time to time, check the Our Games page if you want to suffer for leaderboard glory.
